Bible Gateway
Read any translation of any book in the Bible!
Just type in the passage you would like to read (e.g. “John 3”) and select the translation you would like, and it appears before you. You can then go forwards and backwards in that book. Or you can switch translations if the passage is difficult to understand, or you suspect that it’s one of those passages where the original is unclear, and looking up several versions may give you a broader understanding.
The search facility is useful for finding that phrase you can half remember but your mind goes blank when trying to find it. (But if a search doesn’t work, change the translation to a more traditional one sch as the King James version, and try again.)
Lectio 365
Lectio 365 is a free daily devotional app for your ‘phone that helps you pray the Bible every day.
